Murder victim’s heart cut out

Three men were expected to appear in the Vryheid Magistrate's Court on Monday following the murder of a woman whose heart had been cut out, KwaZulu-Natal police said.

“Vryheid detectives arrested three suspects on Friday. One... is a 40-year-old traditional healer,” Brigadier Phindile Radebe said.

Forty-year-old Buyi Xaba was found naked at the Mooiplaas farm near Vryheid earlier this month. Her chest had been cut open and her heart removed.
